Terms & Conditions – Crochet Hook Cottage

1. General

These Terms & Conditions govern your purchase and use of digital crochet patterns (“Patterns”) from Crochet Hook Cottage (“we”, “us”, “our”). By purchasing a Pattern, you agree to these Terms.

2. Digital Products Only

All items sold are digital crochet patterns, not finished physical products. You will receive a digital file (for example, PDF) after purchase. No physical item will be shipped.

3. Payment & Access

Payment must be completed before you can access your Pattern. After payment, you will receive access to download your Pattern via the email or account you used at checkout. Please download and save your files promptly. We are not responsible for lost files if you delete or misplace them, but we will try to help where possible.

4. No Refunds or Exchanges

Because our products are digital and accessible immediately after purchase, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges for change of mind, ordering the wrong item, or not understanding how to use the file. If you have trouble downloading or opening your file, please contact us and we’ll do our best to help.

5. Personal Use License

When you purchase a Pattern, you are buying a personal, non-transferable license to use that Pattern. You do not own the copyright. You may use the Pattern to make finished items for your personal use or as gifts. You may not

  • Share, resell, or redistribute the Pattern file in any form (digital or printed).

  • Claim the Pattern or design as your own.

  • Translate, modify, or adapt the Pattern and sell or share it as your own pattern.

  • Upload the Pattern or any part of it to websites, groups, or platforms for others to download.

6. Selling Finished Items

You may sell finished items made from our Patterns, provided each item is handmade by you and you give design credit when possible, for example: “Made using a pattern by Crochet Hook Cottage.” You may not use our photos or branding without written permission.

7. Copyright & Intellectual Property

All Patterns, photos, text, and designs are protected by copyright and remain the property of Crochet Hook Cottage. Any unauthorized copying, sharing, or distribution of our Patterns is a violation of copyright law and is prhibited by these Terms.

8. Pattern Updates & Corrections

We may update or correct Patterns from time to time. If we make a significant correction, we may send an updated file to the email or account associated with your purchase where possible.

9. Technical Requirements

You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary device and software to download, open, and read the Pattern files (for example, a PDF reader and a stable internet connection).

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from use or misuse of our Patterns, errors or omissions in the Pattern, or inability to download or access the file due to issues with your device, software, or internet connection.

Our total liability is limited to the purchase price you paid for the Pattern.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to that purchase.
